Hypnotic Dependent Sleep Disorder

Sometimes tolerance, or withdrawl from, a sleep inducing drug can cause insomnia. This can happen from the group of medications known as benzodiazepines.

This disorder is a type of extrinsic sleep disorder, means it comes from something outside the body. Extrinsic sleep disorders are a type of dyssomnia.
