Jetlag

This is a common problem resulting from rapidly changing time zones. This is usually a result of jet flight. The bodies' biological clock is sometimes slow to adjust to the local time, and this will cause problems with getting to sleep and getting up at the proper times. Often daytime sleepiness is the result. Sometimes other physical problems can be involved, like stomach upset.

This condition is a circadian rhythm sleep disorder, meaning that it affects how sleeping and wakefulness are distributed throughout the day. It is a type of dyssomnia.
